Galicia lies within the path where the August 12, 2026 solar eclipse will reach totality, and O Vicedo is well positioned in the northwest of the region. The retreat’s elevated surroundings and open western horizon make it a favorable place to observe the eclipse as the sun lowers toward sunset. (Weather conditions permitting.)

Alongside the yoga, the retreat includes guided labyrinth walking and explorations of nearby coastal and natural landmarks, including visits to Fuciño do Porco, Estaca de Bares and Playa de Abrela. These excursions offer time to move, walk, and be in nature along the Galician coast, connecting with the landscape’s raw beauty and expansive views. Additionally, we will share simple rituals, including traditional Guatemalan hot chocolate as an occasional moment of connection and gentle cultural exchange.

The experience includes daily Hatha Yoga and Aerial Yoga sessions, guided labyrinth walks, shared relaxation spaces, on-site parking, and basic local guidance. There will be free time for rest or personal exploration.
